Acting Principal of Enchicoe introduces pavement block-making machine

Enchi College of Education has taken a significant step towards infrastructure development by introducing a pavement block-making machine to aid in road construction within the campus. This initiative, led by the college’s Ag Principal, Dr. Emmanuel Adom Ashun, aims to enhance accessibility and improve the institution’s environment.

The machine, which efficiently moulds pavement blocks, has been put to work in producing durable blocks for constructing internal roads at the college. This development is expected to provide a cost-effective and sustainable solution to road maintenance while ensuring a more visually pleasing and safer environment for students and staff.

Speaking on the initiative, the Ag Principal emphasized the importance of innovation in institutional development when he met the old students in the Aowin municipal. “With this machine, we can produce high-quality pavement blocks right here on campus, reducing costs and ensuring long-lasting roads. This is a milestone in our efforts to improve infrastructure at Enchi College of Education,” he stated.

The project has also provided an opportunity for people within the Aowin community to gain practical knowledge in block production and road construction. Some students expressed excitement about the development, noting that it would not only enhance movement around the campus but also serve as a learning opportunity for those interested in construction and engineering.

The introduction of the pavement block-making machine aligns with the college’s broader vision of self-sufficiency and innovation in development projects. With the machine now in operation, the college is set to construct more durable roads that will withstand heavy use and harsh weather conditions.

The management of Enchi College of Education has assured the college community of continuous improvements to campus infrastructure, with plans to extend the block-making project to other areas in the future during the meeting with the old students.

This initiative marks a new era for Enchi College of Education, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable development and technological advancement in educational institutions.
