
Yesterday, 12th April, 2025, Enchi College of Education witnessed a spectacular celebration of diversity and unity as the Women’s Commissioner, Miss Tikoli Emmanuella, hosted the “Mr. and Miss Akwaaba” program. The event, themed “Unity in Diversity, Celebrating Our Differences,” brought together students from various backgrounds to showcase their talents, charm, and elegance.

The program was chaired by the College SRC President, Ebenezer Gyetuah, and featured a panel of esteemed judges and special guests. The audience was treated to an exciting evening of individual modeling, talent showcases, and cultural displays.The contestants dazzled the audience with their unique talents, ranging from soulful renditions of songs by Kwabena Kwabena and Kwaku Smoke to impressive drawing skills. One standout performance was by a male contestant who mesmerized the audience with sweet melodies on an organ.As part of the competition, contestants were tasked with speaking about a tourist site in Ghana, highlighting the country’s unique natural beauty. This segment showcased the students’ knowledge and appreciation of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.After a fierce competition, the winners were announced. Miss Gloria Ebbah was crowned Miss Akwaaba, while Mr. Addai Precious emerged as Mr. Akwaaba for the 2024/2025 academic year.
