Prince Boakye, a student of Enchi College of Education, has been elected as the National Treasurer of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) in an uncontested race during the just-ended national delegates congress.

Although he stood unopposed for the treasurer position, delegates were required to vote “Yes” or “No” to confirm their confidence in his ability to serve. At the end of the voting process, Prince Boakye secured a resounding approval with 242 “Yes” votes, 12 “No” votes, and 2 rejected ballots—clearly demonstrating strong support from the delegates.
Prince’s journey to this position is one of resilience and determination. Before rising to the national level, he first contested for the position of SRC President at Enchi College of Education. Though he was unsuccessful in that election, he did not let the setback stop him. Instead, he remained committed to student leadership and continued to serve in various capacities, earning the respect and trust of his peers and colleagues.

His election as National Treasurer is not only a personal victory but also a proud moment for Enchi College of Education, as one of its own takes up a key leadership role at the national level. As Treasurer, Prince Boakye is expected to oversee the financial affairs of TTAG with transparency, discipline, and accountability.

The TTAG community, along with the college, congratulates Prince Boakye and wishes him a successful and impactful tenure. His story serves as an inspiration to student leaders across the country, proving that perseverance and dedication always pay off.
