Enchicoe organises a grand fundraising and inauguration for 1000 capacity auditorium

Enchi College of Education witnessed a historic event as the Acting College Principal, Dr. Emmanuel Adom Ashun, led a grand fundraising and inauguration ceremony for a 1,000-capacity auditorium project on Monday, 17th March 2025. This milestone event brought together key dignitaries, including the Regional Minister, chiefs, pastors, old students, and other stakeholders, in a collective effort to support the institution’s development.

In his welcome address, The Acting Principal, Dr Emmanuel Adom Ashun, emphasised the importance of the auditorium in providing a modern space for academic discussions, cultural events, and institutional gatherings. He passionately called on all stakeholders to contribute towards the completion and maintenance of the facility, highlighting the college’s vision for continuous development. Generous donations poured in from the guests, old students, and well-wishers who recognized the significance of the project. The event was not just a fundraising effort but a demonstration of unity and commitment toward the growth of the institution

A key highlight of the event was the symbolic cutting of the sword to commission the two newly furnished staff bungalows. This initiative aims to improve the living conditions of the staff, ensuring they have a comfortable and conducive environment to enhance their stay on campus. Again a sword was cut to kick off the construction of the 1000-capacity auditorium.

Lecturers also shared their gratitude, with one stating, “Having this auditorium will enhance our ability to engage students in a more structured and comfortable environment. We appreciate the leadership for making this happen.” Speaking to Enchicoe TV, the Acting Principal shared insights into how the project was planned and will be executed. He appreciated all contributors and outlined his long-term vision for the institution.

“This project started as a dream, but through determination, teamwork, and the support of our stakeholders, we have turned it into reality. We will continue to push for more developments that will benefit both our students and staff,” he stated.
