Agawu Fred Wins SRC Presidency as Results for Key Executive Positions Emerge
The Enchi College of Education Students’ Representative Council (ENCHICOE-SRC) Election 2026/27 has produced Essel Agawu Fred as the elected SRC President, after securing 35.35% of the votes.
The presidential results released by the Office of the SRC Electoral Commissioner showed a closely contested race, with Lantam Isaac Nassam placing second with 31.07%, followed by Gong Modecai with 26.79% and Mankutam Ali Elijah with 6.16%.

Rosalinda, Kwesi was the sole candidate listed for the position and recorded 720 votes (90.57%).
Sports Prefect Male
Anor Jonas, Asiedu recorded an overwhelming 734 votes (92.33%), emerging as the successful candidate for Sports Prefect Male.
Entertainment Male
Nimo Dadzie, Richard secured the Entertainment Male position with 698 votes (87.80%).
Entertainment Female
Pokuuaa Osei, Grace won the Entertainment Female position with 714 votes (89.81%).
Dining Hall Male
Lwei James, Konlan emerged as Dining Hall Male with 717 votes (90.19%).
Dining Hall Female
Linda, Acheampong recorded the highest percentage in the latest batch, securing 737 votes (92.70%) to win the Dining Hall Female position.

A Competitive Election
The incoming SRC administration will now be expected to move beyond the electoral contest and focus on student representation, accountability, welfare, effective communication and the implementation of campaign promises.
With the presidential race particularly close, the new administration will also have the responsibility of building consensus across the student body and ensuring that students who supported the various candidates are adequately represented.
