The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Enchi College of Education has successfully concluded the institution’s SRC Week, held from 19th July to 26th July 2026 under the theme: TOGETHER FOR GROWTH, EXCELLENCE AND TRANSFORMATION. The celebration was held under the supervision of the Justice Akwabeng Mensah-led administration and brought together students, lecturers, alumni, traditional authorities, and guests from different walks of life.
The week-long celebration was organised to strengthen unity among students, promote creativity and innovation, recognise excellence, and create opportunities for interaction between students and the college’s stakeholders.
The activities commenced with an official launching ceremony chaired by the Chief of Nkwanta (Nana Kojo Ntow III). Throughout the week, students actively participated in sporting activities, debates, educational programs, entertainment sessions, and social events designed to enrich the lives of members of the college community.
A major highlight of the celebration was the commissioning and handover of two non-mechanised boreholes to the college by the SRC executives. This initiative forms part of the council’s commitment to improving students’ welfare and supporting the institution’s development.
The grand durbar, held on 25th July 2026, drew students, members of the college community, and distinguished guests from across the country. The event was chaired by the Chief of Kwawu, Nana Tano Kabaa II, whose presence lent honour and dignity to the programme.
Another remarkable event was the dinner and awards night, at which the SRC welcomed all lecturers and special guests to celebrate the institution’s achievements. During the ceremony, several lecturers were honoured for their immense support, commitment, and invaluable contributions to the SRC’s progress and success.
The SRC executives expressed their sincere appreciation to the college management, lecturers, traditional leaders, students, alumni, sponsors, and all stakeholders whose support contributed to the celebration’s success.
Speaking on behalf of the leadership, the SRC reaffirmed its commitment to championing initiatives that promote academic excellence, leadership development, and students’ overall welfare.
The successful organisation of SRC Week 2026 once again demonstrates the Enchi College of Education community’s commitment to excellence, service, innovation, and transformation.
